New Year's Eve drone party in the city center of Mechelen

On New Year's Eve between 2023 and 2024, Mechelen held a party in the market square.
In this show, we highlight several iconic elements of the city of Mechelen. The iconic Technopolis building and a panda in a Christmas hat representing Planckendael could be seen.
Mechelen is also the first city with a rail link in Belgium, so we turned an old steam locomotive into a new speeding train. This represents the ongoing construction of the new station.
We also incorporated “de Maneblussers,” a nickname embraced by citizens, showing the moon going out.
On the party tone, an unforgettable New Year's Eve.

Unfortunately, this show is a rendering of the real show because, on New Year's Eve, the wind was exceptionally strong. Our drones have a very wide range, but all the fireworks in the neighborhood, as well as the drone show, were canceled. We are working with the city to find a new opportunity for this show.

A new show has been announced in Mechelen, our first drone show in which we will fly several times in the same evening together with a full orchestra. Take a look!
